WHAT IS IT? Each 2 capsules of Yes™
Ultimate EFAs contains 19 calories and 2
gm of fat. 1,450 mg of a proprietary blend of organic oils includes evening
primrose, and/or high linoleic safflower, and/or high linoleic sunflower, flax,
pumpkin, and extra virgin coconut. Other ingredient is gelatin capsule.
Formulated by professor Brian Scott Peskin to provide parent essential oils
(PEO.) WHAT DOES IT DO? According to the manufacturer: "YES™ Ultimate EFAs are organically produced, cold-pressed seed oils containing “parent” omega 6 and “parent” omega 3. Our EFAs are far better than fish oil supplements. Fish oils are not as pure or as effective as organic or wildcrafted seed oils and can even be harmful. We developed our EFAs to achieve specific, calculated results and they really work... The proper Parent Essential Oil ratio based
on science is another extremely important issue that needs to be addressed.
There is a misconception among nutritionists that we already get plenty of
omega 6 in our diets. The problem is that we get very little pure,
unadulterated "parent" omega 6 oils because, to get long shelf-life,
most will be turned by the food manufacturers into cancer-causing transfats
or damaged in some way making them ineffective. Furthermore, and of extreme
importance is the fact that you can easily "overdose" on excess omega 3,
which can cause serious health problems. More than 97% of your body needs at
least a 4/1 ratio in favor of unadulterated "parent" omega 6 over "parent"
omega 3 because that is what your tissues and organs are made of. CAUTIONS None noted. See Disclaimer.
DOSE Take 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules at lunch or dinner. When extra energy is needed, more can be taken (2-4 capsules) 20 minutes before working out, etc. Can be taken with food or on an empty stomach. Adults take at least 4 capsules daily.
NHC sells 120 capsule bottles of Yes Ultimate EFAs for $44.95. The suggested retail price is $49.95.
